Greensboro Barbell

Greensboro Barbell, a USA Weightlifting affiliate located inside Wright Fitness and CrossFit Versatile, is led by an owner with a decade of weightlifting experience. She has been team leader for multiple youth and junior teams to international events and has personally competed for Team USA four times. She is passionate about developing youth and masters athletes and has been personal coached by World renowned coaches such as Don McCauley, Leo Totten, Glenn Pendlay and others.

  • Greensboro Barbell is a USA Weightlifting affiliate club built on a foundation of expert coaching, competitive experience, and community support. Led by a four-time Team USA athlete with over a decade of experience, our mission is to develop strong, technically sound lifters of all ages and levels. Whether you’re chasing a podium or just looking to improve your lifts, we’re here to help.

    We offer a focused training environment inside CrossFit Versatile with dedicated barbell sessions three times a week. Our program runs in six-week cycles and includes tailored tracks for the snatch, clean, and jerk. With a strong commitment to youth and masters development, our goal is to build not only better lifters but a stronger, more confident community.

  • We offer a limited number of spots at an affordable rate of $30/month. This includes access to all three weekly classes and full participation in our six-week programming cycles.

  • Class Schedule

    Greensboro Barbell offers three coached training sessions each week:

    • Tuesdays: 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM

    • Thursdays: 7:00 AM – 8:00 AM

    • Thursdays: 6:30 PM – 7:30 PM

    Each session includes hands-on coaching, focused skill work, and guided lifting based on our six-week programming cycle. Athletes are welcome to attend any or all sessions each week.
